New Blog - The Thin Veil of Personal Existence

For several years I have been writing a journal about how it feels to be a human being within the enormity of Life. The writing is a vital part of my visual image production and so it seems that the art and writing could be shared together. I am nervous about this direction as I don't consider myself to be a writer, with all the craft that accompanies that title. I know that I can push the drawings to have a quality that comes from years of experience and so (I fear) the collaboration may be a little unbalanced in quality. Maybe it is like speaking a foreign language and relying on a translator to help with the communications (not at all to be disrespectful to translators, but something may be lost in the translation in tone or background.) I am also not editing the journal entries (too much) as I don't feel that I have the time and because the more I worry about it, the less chance that I will share them. 

I want to share my questions and observations through this artistic process with the hope that this will encourage others to also look deeply into what it means to be a human being within Life.
